Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 794) and the U.S. Department of Education regulations implementing the Act prohibit discrimination on the basis of disability in any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Education. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requires Federal agencies to ensure that persons with disabilities have comparable access to and use of information and communication technology.
Rockville Institute strives to meet the Rehabilitation Act standards and we have implemented review procedures to provide prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging a failure to meet the standards. Our Section 508 Coordinator is our point of contact for all matters related to Section 508 compliance. Rockville Institute will not retaliate against anyone who files a complaint or cooperates in the investigation of a complaint.
